Vinh Hoi Apartment is a Research Project in Researching the Interaction between Space – Community. What is exist first? Space defines Comunity or the opposite? My answer is Both!. This is a Symbiosis – Cessation Relationship.

Placed in the site where is already had an existed apartment with the same name: Vinh Hoi Apartment, District 4, HCMC. This Apartment was built before 1975, by doing so it is turning to be low in construction condition as well as lack of usability in current demand and not being able to adapt the fast-growth urbanization in HCMC.
This project was born as a considerate solution in rehousing Vinh Hoi Apartment that end meets all the challenges has raised above.
DESIGN PRINCIPLE
Minimal the impact of the west – east sunlight, radial orientation layout in orientating the masses – layout orientate the human’s behaviour.
Locating the buildings pivot the community space as a core.
